At 3 years old, I cried to stay longer in the dance studio. After school, I skipped around from studio to studio. I never took a year off dance. I learned to dance in all the styles I could, for as many hours as I could, until I danced my way to acrobatics training.
I studied dance at Canterbury High School’s arts program, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. At that top school for the arts, my passion grew for dance, for performing, for the stage and for the technical mastery of stage work.
I started to develop in the demanding craft of aerial hoop at The National Circus School (ENC), in Montréal. I continued my training under the direction of Meaghan Wegg. Then I crossed the big ocean to turn my craft into an art, in Brussels, Belgium, at l’École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ÉSAC), under the coaching of Roman Fedin. In my work try to combine my dance background and aerials technique together , to create a mix that is personal to me, and is based on movement instead of static poses.
