Parade 2019

It’s that time of year again! For Sunday the 17th of November, we’re looking for the people of Tralee to release their inner clown and join us as we take to the crowds for our festival parade for all to join in and experience, both young and old! Dress up as your favourite circus act and get ready to somersault down the streets and bring your sparkle, your tassels, your stilts and your wearable quilts and bewilder all who catch the street show.

This year will feature stilt walkers from Mounthawk Secondary school.  Also featured are artists Tom Campbell working with transition year students in the run up to the festival and Hannes Jung who has created an incredible sculpture for the parade with the help of a spectacle group in Knocknagoshel, all in association with Creative Ireland and Kerry County Council.

Leaving from Moyderwell Hall Sunday 17th at 3pm leading to The Town Square where there will be a free post-parade show with “Bubblecirkus”! Parade like you mean it!
