The National Circus Festival of Ireland is recruiting a General Manager.
The National Circus Festival is Ireland’s largest annual circus festival and one of the most exciting, emerging festivals in Ireland. Supported by the Arts Council and Kerry County Council among others and now in its 17th year, NCFI has become the western lighthouse for contemporary circus in Europe.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced person to lead on the following: Fundraising, financial management, marketing, partnerships and relationship management, venue liaison, volunteer recruitment and management, festival planning, scheduling and organising of the festival.
This new position will be part-time and the chosen person will work closely with the festival director Con Horgan and team, leading up to full time in October until the end of the festival in November. The position can be home-based although it is expected that they will be required to attend regular meetings in Kerry and Dublin.
Remuneration: Total fee is to be €6000
